Day 1: Arrival Entebbe
Pickup from Entebbe International Airport and transferred to your hotel.
Day 2: Shoebill Stork then transfer to Ziwa
Early breakfast then we head out by boat to look for the elusive shoebill heron. This bird stands nearly 6 feet tall, and makes its home in the freshwater swamps of East Africa. Along the way, we will see many other birds such as kingfishers, herons & more! After a fantastic boating experience, we will transfer to Ziwa.

Day 3: Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to Murchison Falls
Early morning we will set out in search of rhinos by foot as we explore Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary is a wildlife conservation area in Uganda dedicated to protecting and reintroducing rhinoceroses into the wild, it is home to Uganda’s only wild rhino population. After visiting the rhinos we will transfer to Murchison Falls for an evening game drive.

Day 4: Full day in Murchison Falls
Today we will spend a full day in Murchison Falls National Park, and we will visit Murchsion Falls, the parks namesake, a powerful waterfall where the Nile River squeezes through a narrow gorge before plunging 43 meters, making it one of the most powerful waterfalls in the world. We will also be spending the day in the field on a game drive looking for the parks rich wildlife, including large herds of the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe, elephants, lions and leopards.

Day 5: Murchison Falls to Kibale
In the morning we will do one more game drive in Murchison Falls National Park and as we depart, we will keep our eyes out for hartebeests and numerous other antelope species. We will then transfer to Kibale.
Day 6: Kibale to Queen Elizabeth
In the morning we will begin our journey to find chimps in Kibale National Park. Kibale offers one of the best opportunities to see chimpanzees in the wild, with over 1,500 chimpanzees where visitors can observe them up close as they forage, play, and interact. Kibale is home to 13 primate species, making it one of the best destinations for primate viewing in Africa. After visiting the chimps, we will do a hike in another as we search out the red colobus monkey, black-and-white colobus monkey, L’Hoest’s monkey, blue monkey, vervet monkey, and olive baboon. The park’s rich primate diversity, combined with its lush tropical rainforest, makes it a paradise for wildlife enthusiasts. After our primate observations we will then transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park where we will spend the night.

Day 7: Kibale to Queen Elizabeth
In the morning we set out and explore Queen Elizabeth National Park, which is home to an incredible variety of wildlife, making it one of Uganda’s most popular safari destinations. The park hosts large populations of elephants, buffalo, lions, leopards, and various antelope species such as the Uganda kob, and waterbuck. In the afternoon we will do a boat ride as we explore the park’s wetlands in the Kazinga Channel. This area is teeming with hippos, crocodiles, elephants and an impressive array of bird species, including the iconic African fish eagle.

Day 8: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Today we spend a full day in Queen Elizabeth National Park, as we look for any species that we may have missed and better photo and viewing opportunities of species we previously have seen. We will keep our eyes out for one of Queen Elizabeth’s rare phenomenons, its is famous tree-climbing lions.

Day 9: Full Travel day to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
This is a travel day from Queen Elizabeth to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, the home of the mountain gorillas!
Day 10: Gorillas – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park then transfer to Mburro
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in Uganda is home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas, making it one of the most important conservation areas for these endangered primates. The park’s dense, covered rainforest provides a protected habitat for these gentle giants, allowing visitors to trek through the forest to observe them in their natural environment. Gorilla trekking in Bwindi offers a rare and intimate experience, as we spend time with a gorilla family, witnessing their daily behaviors, such as feeding, playing, and grooming. After an unforgettable experience with the gorillas, we will travel to Lake Mburro National Park.

Day 11: Lake Mburro National Park then transfer to Entebbe for departure
Lake Mburo National Park in Uganda is a hidden gem known for its diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes, offering a unique blend of savannah, wetlands, and forested areas. The park is home to a variety of animals, including impalas, zebras, buffaloes, and elands. After our morning safari, we will say our good byes as we transfer back to Entebbe for our evening departure.
