Churchill Canada is the polar bear capitol of the world.
Day 1: Arrive in Winnipeg and walk to hotel
The hotel we will be staying it is a short walk from the airport and push carts are available. We will rest and relax for the rest of the day, and have a short meeting get prepped for our exciting polar bear adventure.
Day 2: Eat an early morning breakfast at hotel, and then head to airport to depart for Churchill. Once we arrive, we will get settled in and look for polars bears depending on schedule. (Breakfast included)
Days 3-6: These will be full days of polar bear trekking and viewing. We will eat an early breakfast and then depart and search out the Great White Bear and other wildlife. We will take a break in the middle of the day for a scrumptious lunch buffet, and then be back out in the fieldlooking for polar bears and we will keep our eyes peeled for other wildlife that inhabits the area. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)
Day 7: One more morning polar bear excursion as we tour the wilderness of Churchill, then we will have a quick lunch, then transported to airport for our flight back to Winnipeg. (Breakfast and lunch included).
Day 8: Enjoy a morning breakfast at the hotel and then walk to airport to catch your flight back to the United States or stick around and explore Winnipeg/Canada on your own.

We will be in 13-passenger AWD 4×4 vans, but the maximum number of guests that will be on our trip will be 7 people (including Jason) to ensure everyone has a window and comfortable seating with rooms for the camera gears. When it is safely determined by the local guide and Jason, you will be able to get down the vehicle to view and photograph polar bears on the ground level. Every Churchill photo posted by Jason on social media is taken from ground level, safety is the number one priority!
***These dates are tentative and will not be confirmed until March 2026, this is due to Calm Air’s scheduling of flights from Winnipeg to Churchill. Please note that due to the nature of airline travel schedules in Northern Manitoba, we can not promise polar bear viewing in Churchill on the arrival or departure day. However, we do our best to take you out for wildlife viewing as much time as possible. You also need to remain flexible to shift the travel dates for a couple of days difference that the scheduled tour day due to the changes in local airline schedule. Therefore please do not book your flight or any other transportation to/from Winnipeg until I confirm the final travel dates. The duration of the trip will be the same. The itineraries are intended as examples only. Actual itineraries may vary depending upon flights, weather, wildlife habits, contract service providers, logistical decisions of the tour leader and forces beyond our control. Visitors must be prepared to be flexible; schedules may vary depending on conditions. We reserve the right to make the final decision.
