Day 1 August 29th: Arrival Entebbe
Pickup from Entebbe International Airport and transferred to your hotel. 


Day 2 August 30th: Transfer to Kibale

Early breakfast then transfer to Kibale Forest national park, lunch, visit local villlage to experience the people and culture.

Day 3 August 31st:  Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale then Queen Elizabeth for Evening Safari
Early breakfast then proceed for the Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale national park approximately. Kibale Forest National Park, a haven for primate lovers, the park’s lush greenery and diverse ecosystems provide a captivating backdrop for chimpanzee tracking.  We will enjoy a delicious Ugandan lunch and then head to Queen Elizabeth National Park where will do an evening game drive.

Day 4 September 1st:  Queen Elizabeth Safari and Boat ride down the Kazinga Channel
We embark on an early game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, as we look for an array of wildlife, such as lions, elephants, buffaloes, and the mating ground of the Uganda kob. After lunch we take on a boat ride down the Kazinga Channel. The channel is particularly famous for its large hippopotamus population, and it’s not uncommon to see these massive mammals lounging in the water or on the banks, in addition to the abundance of birdlife.

Day 5 September 2nd:  Full Day Safari in Queen Elizabeth
We start early for a full day game drive in queen Elizabeth National Park, keeping our eyes on the lookout for giraffes, lions, hyenas, leopards, antelopes, buffalos, wathogs, elephants and other wildlife that nature provides that day.

 

Day 6 September 3rd:  Morning Game Drive in Queen Elizabeth then transfer to Bwindi 
We explore Queen Elizabeth National Park one last time as we look for any species that we may have missed on previous safaris. Then transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and prepare for the next day of gorilla trekking.

 

Day 7 September 4th: Gorillas!
The highlight of our Ugandan Adventure will be meeting the gentle giants of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, the mountain gorillas. Apart from mountain gorillas, Bwindi hosts a variety of other wildlife species, including several primate species and is also rich in birdlife, with over 350 species recorded. After visiting with the gorillas, we will immerse ourselves into the local culture Batwa tribe, as we learn about their lives.

Day 8 September 5th – Walking with Rhinos
After breakfast, we transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, a private non-profit conservation project that is the only place in Uganda that wild rhinos can be found.  We will search out the rhinos and approach them by foot to get an intimate experience with these giants.

Day 9 September 6th – Murchission Falls National park 
After breakfast, we head Murchission Falls National park. We will go on morning game drive through the park’s savannah plains where we look for lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and giraffes, among others. After lunch, we continue looking for more wildlife as we make our way to one of the world’s most powerful waterfalls.

Day 10 – September 7th – Murchission Falls National park to Airport
After breakfast, we check out, and head out for one last morning game drive in Murchission Falls National Park.  As we say our goodbyes to Murchission, we are transferred back to Entebbe for a late evening air departure back to the United States
